Chairman
Rupert Bentley joined Bentley Reid in 1997 as an Investment Manager, becoming Chief Executive in 2007. In 2019, he assumed the role of Chairman.
Based in London, but travelling regularly to the Group’s overseas offices, Rupert is a key relationship executive and part of the Investment Team. He is also a member of several Family Office investment committees.
Rupert started his City career in 1993, becoming a US equity Investment Manager with Guinness Flight. He has an honours degree in Economics from Durham University and is an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK.
Rupert enjoys spending time with his family; hopefully skiing or playing tennis. He also helps manage a thoroughbred breeding and racing company and is a Trustee of the John Pearce Foundation.
